Gary Solomon

Gary Solomon
This is a link to an unlisted 1st draft video explaining what I meant about using the Zoom Meeting to mimic a Zoom Webinar

https://youtu.be/EY_844_05qc

It needs a LOT of work but I think it conveys the basics of what I was trying to say. At this point , you are the only one with the link . I'd be interested in your thoughts.

  1. Hi Gary...
Michael told me you can broadcast only the speaker's video if you are sending the Zoom thru OBS and broadcasting. Haven't found out about it using Zoom by itself yet.

  2. Andrew Hatchett yes, I watched his Pixel TC video last night and noticed he was able to do this. I also noticed that he has trouble with making sure the audio from his guest gets out. I think he had the same issue when he was doing your video the other day. This might be an example of what I was worried about. That is: one person managing so many things with OBS. His virtual background wasn't working well either as his head and teeth were turning gray! None of this to criticize Michael who does a great job. Just to point out some pitfalls that might need to be worked on.

    Have a great Thanksgiving, Andrew!

I agree that, depending on how much you are trying to do, a 2nd person is needed most of the times.

Michael likes to play and, imho, tends to ;overproduce' at times - especially when it is a new "toy".
    :)

A Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
